Our Guestbook

These are just some of the things our guests have said about us.

Toni

Eggs, bread, cereals, juice and milk was provided for guests in the communal kitchen to make your own breakfast at a time that suited. This was ideal for us as we had to be out early each morning for a conference. The communal kitchen had a full-size cooker, fridge and freezer for guests to use and an adjacent dining room. Property was clean and well maintained. Off road parking and within 10 minutes drive of the motorways. Great value for money.

William

A serendipitous arrangement that fell into place last minute after our previous hotel cancelled out on us. Ronnie was so friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was large, the bathrooms clean and we really liked the ability to utilize the kitchen to make our own foods. Thank you! Heaven-sent!

From Scotland

Nice place to stay, I stayed for 3 nights as it was only 9 miles away from the NEC and at a good price. Shops only 5 minutes walk. I hope to stay next time when I'm in town for the NEC events.

From America

Excellent location for what l needed. Easy to get the bus or train to the city centre. Cosy welcoming and very friendly staff, they always went out their way to help, Keith was an absolute star thanks for your help. The owner Mr Sweeney goes above and beyond helping you feel very welcome. Room was cosy clean and comfortable and had all the amenities l needed. As a solo traveller l would definitely come here again.

From France

Lovely place and lovely people will go again, thank you Ronnie.

From London

Lovely old character filled building - huge rooms and easy to park. The owner is so lovely and welcoming and can't do enough to help. The complimentary breakfast is a great idea and kept us going all day during two visits to Crufts.

Faye

Great stays here, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. It feels very safe for a lone female traveller. The kitchen is really well stocked. There is parking right outside and a brief walk to all amenities. Highly recommended.

DD

I had to book a night at Sutton Guest House quite quickly. Everything ran to plan, the owner gave me a time to meet, I was a little late due to traffic, but this wasn't a problem. The property is lovely. There is off road parking, a kitchen with breakfast and hot drinks. The house has real character. I stay in Birmingham a lot and really hope to be staying again. All kinds of shops and restaurants are within walking distance. This feels a safe stay and is quiet and clean. Really glad I found this place and hope to be staying during my working year.

Pete

The best digs I've ever stayed in!
